· Since I saw and read The Hiding Place in 1975, I have been touched and fascinated by Corrie Ten Boom’s story. Over the years, I have continued to read everything she wrote and all I could find written about her. She has been a spiritual guide for me in so many of my personal experiences. Her life seems to me to be spiritually significant as we face more chaos and uncertainty. Corrie’s message helps us realize God plans; He does not panic. During 2017, I felt God calling me to share her message through theatre, and the encouragement of my wonderful husband helped me to complete this project. It has been a faith building experience and a joyous blessing from God. It is a gift to Him. I hope you are as blessed by Corrie’s message as I have been.
Terri L. Castleberry Ephesians 6: 10-18
Corrie Ten Boom
Corrie Ten Boom
Corrie and her family had lived for many years in Harlem, The Netherlands when the Germans invaded and occupied Holland during WWII. As the Germans began to persecute and deport the Jewish people, Corrie, her Father, Casper Ten Boom and her sister, Betsie Ten Boom joined the resistance by using their home and watch shop as a hiding place for the Jews. They were betrayed by a fellow Hollander and sent to prison. Corrie’s father died in the prison after only a few days, but Betsie and Corrie were sent to Ravensbruck Concentration Camp in Germany. Betsie would die there, but Corrie would be released to share what she and Betsie had learned from God during those dark days. Corrie lost her brother and a nephew to the Germans as well. In 1983, she died after suffering a stroke and being bed ridden and unable to speak for several years. Her story is an inspiration and a testimony for every Christian.
Comments and Reviews:
Few people in this life become whole and filled with love and forgiveness after horrific torture, betrayal and loss after loss. Corrie Ten Boom was a miracle among us as she emerged from a Nazi concentration camp transformed by the love of Christ. I have always wanted to see Corrie face to face, and I did when I was present to witness Terri Castleberry become Corrie Ten Boom in “No Panic in Heaven.” Terri and husband Marion have created a heart-warming and heart-changing encounter. Don’t miss it!

The wonderful way that Terri became Corrie's voice and the dialogue between you both was uplifting; it certainly high-lighted the courage Corrie had to rise above her the sorrow and pain of losing her loved ones and still maintain the God-given strength to carry on and give testimony of His love.

“No Panic in Heaven”, a visit with Corrie ten Boom written by Terri Castleberry and performed by herself and husband Marion, is a moving and inspirational tribute to the life of a remarkable woman. The thoroughly researched script skillfully unfolds as a conversation quickly convincing the audience they are in the presence of a modern day saint. “No Panic in Heaven” is a joy-filled experience for children, teenagers, and adults. I recommend it highly.
